Your projected Q2 2025 annual premium
RM 15,634
Starting from your Year 1 acceptance premium of RM 15,634. Move the sliders to see what quarterly repricing delivers at Q2 2025 — as early as 84 days away.
How this connects to the premium calculator: The calculator shows what a new member pays at acceptance — Year 1 = RM 15,634 for Dr. Nith's profile (age 63, medical plan, moderate diabetes +180%, controlled hypertension +40%, overweight +9%). This motivator starts from that same Year 1 premium and shows what quarterly repricing can deliver within the policy year — as early as Q2 2025, 84 days away. The calculator's Year 3 estimate (conservative, −5%/yr) and this motivator's projected figure are separate scenarios: one is a long-run trajectory, the other is your next 90-day health window.

Why this matters — for investor context
No Malaysian insurer does this
AIA Vitality gives points and vouchers. WiseCare gives a live RM number — a direct, tangible financial reward for health improvement.
Behavioural science grounding
Concrete financial incentives outperform abstract wellness points for seniors. "RM 800 saved next quarter" is more motivating than 500 wellness points.
Aligned incentives
Healthier members mean lower claims. The motivator aligns member and insurer incentives — the rarest thing in health insurance.

Malaysia's Senior Insurtech Pioneer

Health insurance that
works for you — not against you.

WiseCare.Asia was built for Malaysians aged 60 and above who have been told the door to health coverage is closed.

A new kind of insurer — built from the inside out

WiseCare.Asia is Malaysia's first insurtech platform designed exclusively for seniors aged 60 and above. We exist because mainstream insurers have systematically excluded this generation — citing age, pre-existing conditions, and risk profiles that no traditional actuarial model wants to carry.

We disagree with that exclusion. And we have built the technology to prove a fairer way is possible.

Our model is grounded in a simple principle: your premium should reflect your actual health today — not a statistical average of someone who looks like you on paper. We use real health data, collected quarterly, to reprice coverage dynamically. Members who actively manage their health are rewarded. Those who need more support are not abandoned.

Malaysia's seniors carry a burden the system ignores

3.3M+

Uninsured Seniors

Over 3.3 million Malaysians aged 60 and above have no health insurance coverage — locked out by blanket exclusions and unaffordable premiums.

76%

Out-of-Pocket Costs

76% of healthcare expenditure among seniors is paid directly from personal savings — a financial exposure that a single hospitalisation can wipe out.

15%

Annual Medical Inflation

Medical costs in Malaysia are rising at 15% per year — outpacing wage growth, EPF returns, and most investment vehicles available to retirees.

98M

SEA Seniors by 2030

Southeast Asia's senior population will reach 98 million by 2030. The underinsurance gap is not a Malaysian problem alone — it is a regional crisis.

The quarterly repricing model — our core IP

Traditional health insurers price you once — at inception — and then raise your premium annually regardless of whether your health improved, stayed stable, or even got better. WiseCare does the opposite.

Every 90 days, our AI-driven engine re-evaluates a member's health parameters — blood pressure, HbA1c, BMI, medication adherence, activity levels, and condition-specific clinical markers — and recalculates the premium accordingly. This is not a wellness points programme. This is a live actuarial repricing tied directly to real clinical data.

01

Condition-Inclusive Underwriting

We cover nine primary chronic conditions including diabetes, hypertension, stroke/TIA history, heart disease, COPD, CKD, and more — conditions that most insurers use as grounds for exclusion or loading.

02

Quarterly AI Repricing Engine

Every 90 days, your premium is recalculated based on real health parameter submissions. Improve your health metrics — your premium reflects it in the next quarter. The incentive is not abstract. It is a real RM figure.

03

Premium Motivation Simulator

Before a member even submits their next quarterly data, our simulator shows them exactly how much premium savings they could unlock by improving specific health parameters — turning health management into a financially motivated behaviour.

04

BNM MHIT-Aligned Framework

WiseCare is designed within the regulatory architecture of Bank Negara Malaysia's Medical and Health Insurance/Takaful (MHIT) Policy Document (February 2024), ensuring the model is both innovative and fully compliant.

05

Longitudinal Health Data Ownership

Every data submission a member makes builds a longitudinal health record — not just for underwriting, but as a genuine personal health asset that members retain and control over time.

Your journey with WiseCare

1

Apply with full transparency

Complete a multi-step onboarding that captures your real health profile — including pre-existing conditions. We do not ask you to hide what mainstream insurers penalise you for. We use it to price you fairly.

2

Receive your AI-generated underwriting assessment

Our engine evaluates your clinical intake and produces an initial premium based on your actual health parameters — not a demographic bracket. Condition-specific clinical factors are weighted accurately.

3

Log your health every quarter

Through your Member Health Portal, you submit updated readings — blood pressure, glucose, weight, activity, medication adherence — every 90 days. The more consistently you engage, the more accurately your premium reflects your health.

4

See your next quarter premium — before it arrives

The Premium Motivation Simulator shows you a projected Q2, Q3, or Q4 premium in real-time, tied to specific health improvements. You decide which parameters to work on. The savings are your motivation.

5

Premium repriced — automatically, quarterly

Every 90 days, your premium is recalculated and confirmed. Those who improve are rewarded. Those who remain stable are not penalised arbitrarily. The system is designed to be fair — always.

Beyond wellness points. Beyond abstract rewards.

Conventional wellness programmes reward healthy behaviour with points, discounts, and vouchers. These are well-intentioned — but they remain fundamentally disconnected from the premium itself. A member who exercises five times a week, manages their glucose, and takes their medication faithfully still pays the same insurance premium next year.

WiseCare closes that gap. Every health action a member takes has a direct, calculable, and visible impact on the RM figure they pay every quarter. This is not gamification. This is actuarially grounded, clinically validated premium repricing — where the member is both the subject and the beneficiary of the model.

We do not reward you with points for walking 10,000 steps. We reduce your premium because your blood pressure, HbA1c, and BMI tell us your risk profile genuinely improved. That is not a loyalty programme. That is honest insurance.

— The WiseCare Principle

Built by someone who lived the problem

N
Dr. Nith Vegaya
Founder & CEO, WiseCare.Asia · DBA, Strategic Management

Dr. Nith Vegaya is a Malaysian entrepreneur, strategist, and healthcare innovator with a Doctorate in Business Administration in Strategic Management. He is the sole originator of the WiseCare.Asia concept, business model, and IP architecture.

WiseCare was not built in a boardroom as a market opportunity analysis. It was built by someone who has lived both sides of the problem — personally and acutely.

At 62, Dr. Nith is diabetic — and has been quoted premiums so punishing they bordered on the absurd. Not because his health warranted it. By most clinical measures, he is healthier than people a decade younger. But the system does not see that. It sees a diagnosis code and closes the door.

He is also a stroke survivor. He knows what it means to navigate a healthcare system from a position of disadvantage — to be the person the policy wasn't written for, fighting for coverage that should simply exist. That experience did not discourage him. It ignited something: a conviction that health insurance in this region needed to be fundamentally reimagined, not incrementally improved.

WiseCare is the product of that conviction — a platform designed to treat seniors not as liabilities to be managed, but as individuals whose real health story deserves to be heard, measured, and fairly priced. Before a single line of code was written, Dr. Nith grounded the concept in clinical and actuarial rigour, drawing on the expertise of a Geriatric Consultant and a qualified Actuary to stress-test the model from both a medical and financial viability standpoint. The foundation was built to hold. Dr. Nith's belief is that a business exists to serve the largest possible market in its area of expertise, balancing what is genuinely best for the customer with what sustains the organisation long-term. WiseCare is that belief, applied to one of Malaysia's most overlooked generations.

Malaysia first. Southeast Asia next.

With 3.3 million uninsured seniors in Malaysia and 98 million across Southeast Asia by 2030, WiseCare is positioned as both a commercially viable insurtech and a mission-driven platform for a generation that has waited long enough.
